Today,
I installed the remaining roof panels, which include the chandelier in
this section. The chandelier's wires run to the corner of the dollhouse.
I used clear packing tape to secure the wires. This tape is the
only effective solution for managing unruly wires, as repositionable
glue or glue dots won't keep them in place. Those alternatives will only
loosen and fall, so it's best to use tape. Clear packing tape is nearly
invisible once applied and has a stronger adhesive than regular clear
tape, making it the better choice. You can easily cut it to the size you
need.
Don't underestimate these wires; they can be quite stubborn. Once
the dollhouse is assembled, fixing a loose wire can be extremely
difficult, especially if your hand can't fit into the tight spaces that
need attention. It's wise to ensure the wires are securely fastened
before attaching the roof panels. Taping the wires close to the
chandelier will also help keep it in place.
