Provence Lavender Dollhouse Day 25

While installing a roof panel with a skylight window today, I encountered some challenges typical of MDF dollhouse construction. The window and door openings have rounded corners that require squaring with a box cutter, which can complicate window fitting.

The wiring in the second floor corner is particularly intricate. The larger chandelier's wires must be carefully routed to a small hole in the corner. I used clear packaging tape to secure the wires neatly along the ceiling edge, guiding them across the dollhouse.

After installing the back roof panel and adding trim along the roof ridge, the dollhouse is beginning to take shape, revealing the emerging structure of the miniature project.
