Fairy Tale Homestead Day 15

I previously shared the preparation for this second floor partition. However, I realized the instructions lacked crucial information - both sides of this partition need to be wallpapered. Thankfully, I wallpapered the missing side before installation. Due to the broken English in the instructions, I am guiding myself solely by the illustrations but some appear to be omitted causing a possible missed step. Keep this in mind and work very carefully.

Before installing any dollhouse part, trim excess wallpaper from the edges for a flush fit. I secured the second floor onto the columns and clamped it while it dried. Despite my initial concern, the columns aligned correctly. It seems the dotted guides on the base floor are inaccurate for the raised flooring segment, but this doesn't affect later steps. Just disregard the dotted lines and ensure the raised flooring aligns and sits flush with the back and left walls.

There is a slight gap between the second floor and the right wall. This was caused by a warping of the right wall after wallpapering and is common with any wooden dollhouse kit. In this instance, it is not a problem as the second floor is mostly being carried by the back wall and the columns.
