This
hanging swing is challenging to make. You need to assemble and
upholster the seating area, then use wire to hang it. It can be tricky
to ensure the wires are even on both sides, but it's important to avoid
having one side lower than the other.
The wires are covered in floral sprigs, and I have placed a throw,
pillow, book, and garden hat on it — items I had made and set aside
earlier.
Now, there's a design issue with the dollhouse. The swing was
intended to be glued to the porch side, but that side has a hinged panel
that hides the power supply. If you glue the swing there, it will block
access to the panel, making it impossible to open fully for battery
changes. Therefore, it's better to glue the swing to the front porch
instead.
Also, notice the floral sprigs glued at the roof apex. They
conceal the small hole where the two roof panels meet. This kit truly
considers every detail.
