Provence Lavender Dollhouse Day 43

This hanging swing is difficult to make. You need to assemble and upholster the seat, then hang it using wire. It can be tricky to make sure the wires are even on both sides, as one side should not be lower than the other. The wires are decorated with floral sprigs, and I have placed a throw, pillow, book, and garden hat on it—items I made and set aside earlier.

There is also a design issue with the dollhouse. The swing was meant to be glued to the porch side, but that side has a hinged panel that hides the power supply. If you glue the swing there, it will block access to the panel and make it impossible to open for battery changes. Therefore, it’s better to glue the swing to the front porch instead.

Additionally, notice the floral sprigs glued at the roof apex. They hide the small hole where the two roof panels meet. This kit really pays attention to every detail.
