Today, I made some small pillows. My sewing skills aren’t great, so please be kind about the results. It’s a miracle they even look like pillows. If you can sew, your results will likely be much better.
The leather couch has segments, which makes it easier to assemble. Once the pillows are on the couch, they look much better. Attaching them to the leather can be tricky with tacky glue, so it’s best to use the alcohol-based glue provided in the kit. Even then, you may have trouble keeping the leather in place, so patience is important. If your kit didn’t include glue, consider using a fast-acting glue specifically for leather, as this material tends to shift easily. The pillows are holding up well with hot melt glue since they are made of fabric, not leather.
If you find working with leather too difficult, you could switch to a different fabric that is easier to handle and similar in color. This way, you can use the leather only as accents.
