We're now delving into the finer details of the dollhouse construction. One wall requires wallpapering and lighting installation. While removable wallpaper templates are typically recommended for easy access to wiring, this method isn't suitable for this particular build. Instead, you'll need to wallpaper over the wiring, which is already secured in pre-grooved walls using clear packing tape. This hard-wiring approach is more reliable and durable.
If you prefer not to wire the dollhouse, that's also acceptable. Lamps and chandeliers can still be used without wiring, and you can explore alternative lighting methods later. However, for demonstration purposes, I'm assembling the kit as specified.
After applying the wallpaper, the window fits easily into its designated opening. While most of the process has been straightforward, I encountered some difficulty with the curtains. The instructions contained mismatched photos, making placement unclear. Although I eventually figured it out, I had to use extra trim at the bottom and sides to cover up my cutting mistakes.
